Monthly Milk Subscription

Stick with me here!

This is long but very important.

Many of your questions should be answered by reading the terms and conditions. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

Our dairy products are RAW, nothing is pasteurized. Raw milk can contain beneficial and harmful organisms.

We are “LISTED” with the Raw Milk Institute and are committed to producing safe and clean raw milk. We sample our milk several times a month to ensure the quality is up to RAWMI standards. (Fun fact! We were the first RAWMI LISTED farm within about 500-mile radius! Our friends on other dairies in Nebraska are currently working hard on getting LISTED too!)

*If you are new to raw milk, please allow your body time to get used to raw milk by starting with only a cup a day.

*Please do your own research to judge whether raw milk is a good option for you and your family before you buy from me.

*The milk will stay fresh at least 7 - 10 days from the fill date.

*Transport your milk in a cooler from my fridge to yours. This will help with keeping the milk cool, fresh and last longer!

Milk must stay refrigerated. 34-38* is ideal

*Clean jars and cool milk make the freshest milk!

*Jars MUST be clean, sanitized and completely dried each week

*Farm to Consumer ONLY

Guest Expectations:

  • This is our home and a working farm. We ask that you:

    • Do not roam around for safety, biosecurity and liability reasons

    • Respect the pickup times - If you come on a day that we are closed or before 10am or after 7pm you will be considered trespassing.

  • The dogs are friendly but be mindful this is their home to protect.

  • Do not leave children unattended.

  •  It’s best to keep your pets at home. If you bring pets in your vehicle, please note that my dogs will jump on your vehicle to get to your dogs... I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES.

Subscription:

Pay monthly, pickup weekly.

Invoices are reoccurring, calculated based on how much milk you’d like and will be sent by Square Pay via email on the 22nd of each month

  • Payment is due on or before the 1st of the month for the months worth of milk.

    • failure to pay before the first will result in a late fee (See Late Fees below).

    • Cash, Check (payable to Chapman Family Dairy) or Square Pay are accepted

    • Automatic payment option available thru square

Pick up:

    • I will work with you on a pickup day but know some days may be already filled.

    • You have 2 days to pick up your order during store hours.

      • Example: Your pickup day is Wednesday (9-6:30) but can’t make it, you’ll have Thursday (9-6:30) or Friday (9-6:30) to come grab your milk before it’s recycled with no refund and a jar washing fee.

    • Usually someone is around but this is on an honor system during the week - Be honest. Don’t be the person to get this privilege taken away. If you need extras, instructions are below.

      • Property is under constant surveillance

Subscription Hours:

  • Please respect the pickup times. Period. If you show up outside of these hours, you will be considered trespassing.

    • Sunday’s CLOSED

    • Monday’s 9am - 6:30pm

    • Tuesday’s 9am - 6:30pm

    • Wednesday’s 9am - 6:30pm

    • Thursday’s 9am - 6:30pm

    • Friday’s 9am - 6:30pm

    • Saturday’s 9am - 6:30pm

  • Subscription hours will always remain the same unless I contact you directly via text message or email

  •  Please drive slow - watch for kids and animals as you pull into our yard. The dogs are getting older and slower and kids are usually outside.

  • You WILL NOT be reimbursed if you do not pick up your order for any reason - Being out of town, unable to make it, etc.

    Three options available:

    • Have a friend pickup your milk

    • Hold your milk over till the next week (I will allow this for only one week - Don’t abuse this, I don’t have a ton of space to store)

    • Donate your milk to a sponsored family we support in times of need.

We do this to ensure our cows get the proper care they need and make sure we have the cash flow to do so. Plus helping a family in need is always refreshing!

Jars:

    • New Subscribers will buy two sets of jars from me (this will be included on the first invoice)

      • Drop Point subscribers need three sets of jars - the rotation works a bit differently

        • 1 set that I keep to fill and 1 set that you have

          • Example: You order 2 gallons per week = 4 half gallon jars to me

    • You MUST bring back an equal amount of empty jars so I can fill your order for the next week.

    • Bring them back CLEAN, SANITIZED and DRY - I DO NOT wash them

      • Let your jars air dry with lid off

    • METAL LIDS - you must replace your lids when they become rusty. Pathogens LOVE iron.

    • Plastic lids are best but keep them clean or they will grow mold!

    • Gray leak proof lids are fantastic but hard to see mold so be careful there!

    • If for any reason I need to wash a jar, there will be a $7 per jar charge.

    • I will not fill plastic containers that I do not supply

    • If you cancel your subscription, jars are yours, so you have 30 days collect before they are forfeited to my collect.

    • If jars or lids are forgotten for the next week, I will fill plastic jugs (if i have some in stock) or a new glass jar and change a fee accordingly:

      • ½ Gallon Glass Jar - $7

      • Quart Glass Jar - $5

      • Pint Glass Jar - $5

      • Lids - $3

Communication

  • Always check your emails!

  • Emails will be sent out for important updates or changes to the subscription program including terms & conditions, pricing, etc.

  • Text messages will be sent out to you directly if there is a problem with getting your order filled and have to move to a different day (this happens if a milk-tastrophie happens that is out of my control)

“Extras”

  • Ideally put an order in a day or more ahead of time so I can have your order set aside

  • Extra dairy products, eggs and other refrigerated items will be in the fridge on the right side and it’s a first come first serve basis - Payment on those extras are due at time of pickup - Communicate to me if you paid cash or need an invoice sent

  • Honey products are also available on the shelf

  • BEEF - Please place an order online I will pull it for you and have it ready for your pickup day

Refrigerator Etiquette

  • Double check that BOTH doors are shut on the fridge The fridge doors pop open when the other closes.

  • The LEFT side is all for subscription orders, Middle over flow subscription and online orders and the right side will have the extras.

  • The RIGHT side of fridge is where extra items are located for purchase, unless labeled otherwise
