Creamy Steak Pasta Recipe
This creamy steak pasta is one of those meals that feels fancy enough for date night but is easy enough for a busy weeknight. Tender steak, a rich creamy sauce, and pasta... it doesn't get much better than that!
Creamy Steak Pasta
You'll need:
1 lb Chapman Family steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip all work great, even stew meat will do!)
12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups heavy cream from the dairy
1 cup grated Parmesan
Salt & pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley (optional)
2 cups spinach (optional)
Directions:
Cook your pasta and save about ½ cup of the pasta water.
Season the steak with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet for 3 to 4 minutes per side (depending on thickness). Let it rest, then slice into thin strips.
In the same skillet, melt the butter and cook the garlic for about 30 seconds.
Stir in the heavy cream, spinach (optional) and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
Add the Parmesan and stir until smooth. If it's too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
Plate your pasta and top with the creamy sauce and the sliced steak.
Sprinkle with parsley and a little extra Parmesan.
Serve with a simple salad and a fresh glass of raw milk!
Cheers to good food and full bellies! 🥛
